During World War II it became HMS Tormentor and was used as the base for the 'Southern Command Combined Operations Training Centre'. Today the site is under new management and undergoing a refurbishment. It offers industrial and workshop space suitable for a wide range of marine business uses including boat building, repair, service and maintenance. The marina offers berthing for 56 yachts and areas of hard standing are available if required (subject to additional cost).
